Spring has been busy with my starting a new job , and Pat digging into the garden. Still there is time to notice and enjoy the changes that are happening minute to minute. The slideshow shows some of our latest endeavors: Pat's willow patch which will we will harvest next year to make a living hedge on one side of our forest garden, Marbles keeping cool in the dead hedge, Marbles and Ninja checking out Pascal in his exercise pen, Pat's prepped vegetable beds, and a couple of dye jars with fabric for a piece I've been working on during my commutes. The asparagus hasn't come up yet, but the skunk cabbage, may apples, and trillium have all debuted. The honeysuckle has leafed out enough to give the forest that lacy green look. In other exciting news, on a walk yesterday, Abe discovered the site of our future treehouse. We're going to build around a fallen oak. In the meantime we're enjoying climbing on its enormous limbs and under its cage-like formations.
